They may be tried and true or been there done that but sensory bottles are still  the neatest thing to make for contemplative quiet time.

Oil and water don’t mix – but they make the best combination of bubbles, drips and droops.

Try vinegar and baby oil to keep the water from getting cloudy

Add some food colour. 

Add some 'bits'  . . . . mini pom poms . . . sparkles . . . marbles . . . glitter . . . googly eyes . . . cut straw pieces . .

Seal the lid with a glue gun
Use duct tape as back up

Delight in turning these bottles upside down
